Van's Place is nestled in one of the worlds most famous winter and skiing destinations. The village of Kaltenbach hosts an indoor activity centre with squash, bowling, a fun court and outdoor ice skating is also offered at low temperatures.
Van’s Place is at the doorstep (approx. 350 m) of this renown skiing resort “Hochzillertal-Hochfügen” and is the ideal base to explore the many slopes this resort has to offer. The famous restaurants "Kristallhütte", the "Platzalm", the "Albergo" and the "Wedelhütte" will undoubtably spoil you with local delicacies. Wake up, enjoy a good breakfast and walk across to the slope. Ski/snowboard down to the valley station and catch the cable car up to almost 2400 m, where you can enjoy the perfectly prepared slopes with pure powder snow. After a day of enjoyment ski/snowboard down the "valley run" and jump off where you started.
